Even with the best intentions to go into the new year full of optimism and excitement, it is still sometimes easy to catch a case of the January blues. Viva magenta is the perfect antidote to that. Pantone describes it as “a pulsating colour whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration” so why not take advantage of this colour's vibrant positivity?
Go for ultimate impact, with a bold repaint of your walls (we think Viva magenta would look particularly breathtaking in a downstairs loo or boot room), or make a statement in the kitchen by refreshing the cabinetry, or how about starting the day right by giving your staircase a new lease of life? You don’t have to go big with Viva magenta to add impact to a space - pops of this colour here and there can still have some fantastic results. Accent armchairs, artwork, curtains, cushions, or as part of of bedding are all great ways to add a touch of ‘optimistic celebration’ to your home.
