Following my delightful visit to Tillingham vineyard in September, I knew It had to be in our next Floella Loves! Located in East Sussex, not far from the quaint town of Rye (also definitely worth a visit), this stunning vineyard is set amongst 70 acres of hills and woodland and provides a relaxing getaway for any wine lover. The site hosts a restaurant, bar, wine tasting room, and shop, as well as luxury rooms to stay the night. Every space at Tillingham has been interior designed beautifully. You may have noticed in our last few Floella Loves blog posts, we have been loving the current beetle trend and we can't see it ending any time soon. We spotted these beetle trims while scrolling through the Samuel & Sons site and thought they were too adorable not to share. Although on the pricier side, used sparingly to edge a cushion or around the base of a lampshade, these trims would be perfect to add some character and fun to your room. The colourway on the left with its golds, browns, and greens would be ideal for this Autumn season.

Natasha Hulse is a fabric artist who creates beautiful three dimensional applique pieces which are all inspired by organic structures from the natural world. These incredible hand-made designs are then applied to bespoke pieces offered on her webshop, or incorporated into bespoke commissions to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. We'd recommend having a browse of her instagram to get a closer look at the intricacy and depth that goes into each of her designs and the "whimsical quirky charm they provide".

Wallpaper is a simple, cost-effective way to add huge amounts of character and life to a room, so we are always on the hunt for new options here at Floella Interiors. Milton and King have a huge selection of wallpapers and we've picked out just a few that we love above. We particularly love the floral wallpaper on the right which has a traditional English feel with a touch of contemporary avian charm. We could stare at this wallpaper for hours, discovering new wild flowers and inquisitive, feathered friends.

We are really in to birds this month, perhaps because they are nice memory of summer as we move into the cooler months. If you haven’t got time to re-wallpaper your room, but still want to introduce some colourful fun to the walls, check out Shrig Shop for some limited edition artwork. Shrig Shop in Copenhagen is run by artist David Shrigley and gallerist Nicolai Wallner. The shop serves as an extension of Shrigley's artistic practice with the aim of being ‘accessible to everyone, whether it is as significant as a print or as humble as a postcard.’ We’ve picked out a couple of our favourite uplifting and playful pieces here, but check out their online shop for more.
