Our 'If money was no object' Christmas wish list

Let’s admit it, we’ve all done it – added that extortionately priced (yet stunning) treat to ourselves, to our basket and sat with our finger hovering over ‘buy now’… why not? It is Christmas after all! But then you remember the bank balance, the bills, the car… but hey, a girl can dream! This blog is all about those incredible items which have remained on our wish lists year on year.

Sarah’s wish list

First up on Sarah’s ‘if money was no object’ Christmas wish list is this luxurious 100% silk pyjama set by Holland Cooper. Sarah loves the stunning hand-drawn pattern and the sophisticated gold crested buttons. You know money is truly ‘no object’ when you complete a pyjama set like this, with a beautiful matching eye mask. Only a couple of hundred pounds away from (surely) the best night’s sleep of your life!

Next on Sarah’s list is this gorgeous, green, small top handle Gucci bag. Colours don’t just make us happy when used in interiors, they also have an uplifting effect when we wear them. How perfect would this little accessory be, not just to brighten up an outfit, but also brighten up your day!

Sarah’s final pick for her list is this stunning Marlo Laz, Alexandra 14-karat gold, tourmaline and diamond ring. Described by Marlo Laz as “a modern heirloom in the making”, there is no denying this would be a very special addition to the jewellery box.

Lanny’s wish list

If money was no object, an Ellie Saab haute couture dress would be at the top of my list. I’d quite happily receive any gorgeous Saab dress but Look 29 from the Spring/Summer 2021 catwalk has particularly caught my eye. That amazing pink ruffled organza skirt is just incredible, and the heavily embroidered neckline adorned with crystals is so beautiful. I love those delicate sequin flowers that seem to blossom from the bodice. I don’t know what event I’d wear this to, but if I owned this dress… I would find one.

Perhaps a slightly more wearable, and maybe realistic pick for my ‘if money was no object’ Christmas wish list would be a Yves Saint Laurent bag. In particular, this Cassandra mini top handle bag in box Saint Laurent Leather. I fell in love with this bag when I saw it in Saint Tropez a few years ago, and I just know it would surely work with any outfit in my wardrobe – so perhaps a worthwhile investment?

My final pick would be this La Mer moisturising cream. Although, I do have a slight obsession with skincare, the main reason this would be on my list is out of intrigue as to what a £1,700 tub of moisturiser could actually do for your skin! It claims to “renew the driest complexions and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and visible pores.” and with that price tag… I’d expect so!
