What we've been up to

This month work has continued on our big London project, our Lydney project is nearing completion, and we have begun working on some exciting schemes for new projects which we can’t wait to share with you soon. This month has also included a very inspiring trip to the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour, in search of some gorgeous wallpapers (some of which we have included below) for upcoming projects. All the while, Sarah and her daughter, Florence, have been continuing to train for their Snowdon charity climb. There is now a free virtual design service up for grabs for the highest secret bidder, so read on to find out how you can donate to a great cause and bag yourself a prize worth £295!

Earlier this month, whilst visiting a few of our London clients, we took the opportunity to pay a visit to the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour to search out some inspiration for current and future projects. Widely renown as “the world’s premier destination for design and decoration excellence”with 120 showrooms and “over 600 of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands”, it is easy to see how we could have easily spent days browsing through beautiful wallpapers, trims, fabrics, and furniture. Below we have shared just a few of our favourite finds.

If you missed last month’s newsletter, at the end of March, Sarah and Florence will be climbing Snowdon to raise money for the charity; JDRF, who fund Type 1 Diabetes research to improve lives and to one day hopefully eradicate the condition for good! (You can read more about their story and donate here). To help reach their £1500 goal, Sarah is generously offering up a free virtual design service to the highest secret donation. In order to enter, send an email to sarahdavies@floella.uk with your secret donation bid, and just before they make the arduous climb, we will announce the lucky winner.

Our virtual design service is all about giving you, our client, the opportunity to bounce ideas off and discuss design inspiration with a designer in your home (virtually). The end product is a curated mood/style board full of original, designer ideas and inspo' for your home. As part of the service, you will chat with Sarah on an online video call via Whatsapp, where Sarah will get to know you a little better and see the room that you want help with - we'll chat through ideas that you have had and Sarah can offer up her initial thoughts too. We will then go away and create a virtual mood board (or two) with everything we've chatted through and give more ideas on colours/designs/products. We’ll also give you all the supplier info for anything you like, so you can make the ideas a reality. Check out some examples of past virtual design boards we have created for clients below.
